QUARTIC SURFACE

A quartic surface is an algebraic surface of degree 4.

Examples: torus, milk carton, cross-cap and pseudo cross-cap, cyclide, two examples of cyclotomic surfaces, Goursat surface, Bohemian dome, Bouligand's cushion, thick figure-eight, elasticity surface, rotation of the eight curve, rotation of the parabola, Steiner surface, tangent developable of the skew parabola.
